You have extensive experience in employment law, ideally with a focus on labor and employment issues across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Australia, and Germany. Your background includes providing legal counsel on employee policies, performance management, and compliance matters. You are adept at collaborating with HR teams and other departments to ensure that the organization adheres to legal standards and best practices. You possess strong analytical skills and can navigate complex legal frameworks while providing clear guidance to stakeholders. You are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and understand the importance of diversity in the workplace. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

Experience in corporate compliance initiatives and litigation support is a plus. Familiarity with AI and technology-related employment issues would be beneficial, given Intercom's focus on AI customer service solutions. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders effectively. What you'll do

In this role, you will provide global counseling and subject matter expertise on a broad range of labor and employment issues. You will collaborate closely with the People team, including HR Ops, Recruiting, and Compensation and Benefits, to address employment-related matters. You will be responsible for developing and implementing employee policies that align with legal requirements and best practices. You will also assist in managing investigations and litigation matters, ensuring that the company is well-prepared to handle any legal challenges. Your role will involve advising on compliance initiatives and helping to create a culture of legal awareness within the organization. You will work on projects that enhance the employee experience while ensuring that the company meets its legal obligations. You will also participate in training sessions for HR and management teams to promote understanding of employment law and compliance issues.
