You understand the complexities of transportation policy and are adept at navigating the legal challenges that come with innovative technologies. Your experience includes working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into product development from ideation to deployment. You are skilled at anticipating legal issues and mitigating risks, particularly in high-profile cases that set precedents in the industry. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable advising on corporate and commercial transactions.
In this role, you will be responsible for addressing the legal issues surrounding Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will work closely with public policy, safety, security, and privacy experts to define and influence transportation policy. Your role will involve advising on regulatory changes that impact the business and ensuring compliance with a dynamic range of global regulations. You will collaborate with various teams to develop and protect Waymo's intellectual property portfolio, driving corporate and commercial transactions forward. Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $238,000 to $302,000 USD, along with participation in a discretionary annual bonus program and an equity incentive plan.
