SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Technician for the Raptor Foundry to operate and maintain robotic systems and heavy industrial equipment. This role requires a strong industrial background and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.

Your attention to detail and hands-on experience will enable you to master evolving processes and operate heavy industrial equipment safely and efficiently. You have a track record in industrial production and are eager to contribute to cutting-edge propulsion systems. You understand the importance of driving improvements that support SpaceX's mission to build revolutionary launch vehicles and spacecraft.
As a Propulsion Technician, you will operate and maintain robotic systems for shell manufacturing, including part loading, in-process inspection, and slurry sampling. You will assist in the operation of burnout furnaces, including cutting and placement of insulation on molds. Your role will also involve supporting the pour operations team with mold transfer processes using robotic equipment, forklifts, and other assisted lift methods. You will operate large industrial equipment such as abrasive saws, waterjets, and grit blasting machinery to support de-shelling and casting mold operations. Additionally, you will read and interpret work order instructions to blend and remove material using carbides or other hand tools, ensuring critical dimensional tolerances are met. Handling part transfers and documentation will also be part of your responsibilities.
