AEM Developer

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale Content Management Systems using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service. Your background includes hands-on programming experience in Java/J2EE, and you are adept at deploying highly scalable REST APIs. You possess a deep understanding of Java, J2EE, Servlets, and HTL/Sightly skills, combined with enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.

You are proficient in developing complex AEM Content Fragments and nested content fragment models, and you have experience integrating with third-party tools and AEM launches. Your knowledge extends to core web technologies including XML, HTML5, CSS, and client/server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, preferably using ES6-based JavaScript. You are familiar with Single Page Applications (SPA) and frameworks like VueJS and React JS.

You have a solid understanding of core frameworks such as Apache Sling, Apache Felix, and OSGI, which you have utilized in your previous projects. Your experience also includes developing foundational concepts in Day CQ/AEM, including Components, Templates, Dialogs, and OSGI.

You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, and you are ready to innovate in cloud communications. You have a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, which has equipped you with the technical foundation necessary for this role.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-based solutions and a strong understanding of marketing needs would be advantageous. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams will also enhance your candidacy.

In this role, you will be technically responsible for the development and enhancement of web applications at Vonage. You will implement new templates and develop reusable components and workflows to support the marketing needs of the organization.
