Overview

Hootsuite is seeking a Corporate Communications Co-op/Intern to support media relations and executive thought leadership initiatives. You'll gain hands-on experience in content administration and customer advocacy programs. This role is ideal for those looking to start their career in corporate communications.

Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to gain experience in corporate communications. You possess strong writing skills and are comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders to create impactful communications materials. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. You have a passion for storytelling and understand the importance of brand representation in the corporate world. You are open to learning and adapting to new challenges, making you a great fit for a co-op position.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the creation and organization of communications materials, including executive talking points, event briefings, and internal employee updates. You will coordinate customer advocacy efforts by searching for testimonial quotes and liaising with account owners on quote requests. Additionally, you will maintain the logo permissions list and verify requests for customer logos in marketing materials. You will contribute to quarterly case study campaign planning and execution, organizing assets and tracking deliverables. Monitoring the media alias inbox will also be part of your responsibilities, where you will route inquiries to the appropriate teams. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders will be essential as you help surface and shape stories that matter to customers, partners, and employees.
