SpaceX is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer for their Starlink project to develop security features for a rapidly expanding network. You'll work with technologies like JavaScript, React, and AWS to enhance user security. This role requires experience in full stack development and security engineering.
You have 3+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, with a strong focus on security features. Your background includes working with both front-end and back-end technologies, allowing you to build comprehensive solutions that meet user needs. You are proficient in JavaScript and React for front-end development, and you have experience with Node.js and Python for back-end services. Your understanding of security principles enables you to implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms effectively.
You are familiar with cloud services, particularly AWS, and have experience deploying applications in a secure manner. Your knowledge of Docker and containerization helps you streamline development and deployment processes. You understand REST API design and have experience integrating various services to create seamless user experiences. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in software applications.
Experience with security frameworks and tools such as OWASP is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira or Confluence will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Starlink team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security features that protect our users and their assets. You will collaborate closely with internal partners across various engineering disciplines to ensure that security is integrated into every aspect of our software development lifecycle. Your work will involve building user-friendly interfaces that allow customers to manage their deployed assets securely.
You will develop and maintain APIs that facilitate secure communication between different components of the Starlink system.
