Snowflake is seeking a Solution Engineering Manager to lead a team of Solution Engineers for the Federal Civilian Business. You'll collaborate with sales and channel partners to strategize and close business. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
You have a proven track record in leading technical teams, ideally with experience in solution engineering or a related field. Your ability to interpret complex problems and create simple solutions is key to your success. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are passionate about empowering your team and fostering a culture of innovation and growth. Your experience in managing teams includes sourcing and screening candidates, ensuring that you build a high-performing group that aligns with the company's values. You understand the importance of customer feedback and are adept at representing your team's needs to executive staff.
Experience in the Federal Civilian sector is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise sales cycles. You have a strategic mindset and can navigate complex sales processes effectively. Your communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from prospects to executive leadership.
In this role, you will build and lead a team of solution engineers who serve as experts in product introduction, evaluation, and education. You will partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets and ensure that relationships are built with enterprise customers. Collaborating closely with revenue leaders, you will set the go-to-market strategy for your territory, ensuring that your team is aligned with business objectives. You will interpret complex customer needs and work with your team to deliver winning solutions that address those needs. Your role will also involve actively sourcing and screening potential candidates, managing the interview process to ensure that you attract top talent. You will play a crucial role in escalating customer feedback and product obstacles to the executive staff, ensuring that your team's insights are heard and acted upon.
