Tekion is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (MLP) to power their AI-native automotive platform. You'll work with machine learning and big data technologies to enhance dealer outcomes. This role requires expertise in building and operationalizing machine learning systems.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in machine learning and AI applications. You are skilled in operationalizing complex data systems and have a strong understanding of big data technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about transforming industries through innovative technology. You have experience with graph-based contextual ecosystems and understand how to personalize user experiences effectively. You are familiar with building resilient control layers for machine learning applications and have a keen interest in defining standards for deploying and governing AI systems. You are committed to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies in the rapidly evolving automotive sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for powering Tekion’s AI-native automotive platform by turning dealership data into real-time intelligence. You will operationalize a graph-based contextual ecosystem that allows agents to retrieve the right context and enforce policies effectively. You will build the resilient control layer, including the MCP and LLM Gateway, to enable safe and cost-efficient multi-provider LLM usage. You will define the standards for building, evaluating, deploying, and governing agentic systems, ensuring they meet the highest quality and performance benchmarks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning capabilities into the platform, enhancing the overall user experience and driving measurable outcomes for dealers. Your contributions will directly impact the automotive retail ecosystem, making it more efficient and customer-centric.
