Xometry is hiring an Account Executive II to manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers. You'll build relationships and guide clients through the sales process. This role requires a strong sales background and excellent communication skills.

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in managing inbound leads and converting them into loyal customers. Your ability to build relationships is key, as you will be projecting the company's values of trust, service, and honesty to clients. You are strategic in identifying long-term clients and securing repeatable orders, demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction and business growth.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, to ensure that customer needs are met effectively. Your organizational skills allow you to create and manage plans that align with specific sales objectives, driving profitable growth and enhancing the company's market share.

You are passionate about the manufacturing industry and have a keen understanding of rapid manufacturing technologies. This knowledge enables you to assist customers in selecting the best solutions for their development projects, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.

Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the sales process. You are adept at guiding clients from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring a seamless experience that fosters loyalty and trust.

What you'll do

In your role as Account Executive II, you will be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads into loyal customers. This involves developing business with both existing and new inbound customers, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets. You will assist customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects, acting as a knowledgeable resource throughout the process. Your role will also involve being the primary contact for all new projects related to prototyping and low-volume production, ensuring that customer requirements are clearly communicated to internal departments.

Collaboration with the sales engineering team will be crucial, as you will provide guidance to develop quotes based on specific customer needs. Your ability to collect and relay new customer requirements will help streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
