As a Freelance Backend Engineer at Voodoo, you will play a critical role in the development of the Wizz app, a social platform designed for teens. You will collaborate with a team of 20 to scale and enhance the app, ensuring it meets the needs of its over 3 million monthly active users. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust APIs that facilitate seamless user interactions. You will also work on optimizing system performance and reliability, addressing any challenges that arise during the development process.
You will take part in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the application, ensuring that best practices are followed. Your role will involve close collaboration with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
