Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This position requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of IoT applications.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and navigating complex sales processes. Your experience includes managing trials, negotiating pricing, and selling to executives and CXOs. You thrive in a role that requires high energy and the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders. You understand the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) and are excited about bringing its benefits to customers. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to the required working hours in EST/CST.
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with IoT solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with sales strategies that involve POCs and multi-faceted negotiations will help you excel in this role. A background in industries such as agriculture, construction, or transportation can provide valuable insights into customer needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients, presenting the benefits of sensor data and how it can improve their operations. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage trials and negotiate pricing effectively. You will work closely with various stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met throughout the sales process. Your ability to communicate the value of IoT solutions to executives will be crucial in closing deals and building long-term relationships.
You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development, helping to shape the future of Samsara's offerings. Your role will involve approximately 25% travel, allowing you to meet clients face-to-face and strengthen those relationships. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about transforming physical operations through technology.
