Neuralink is seeking a Toxicologist to lead toxicological risk assessments and biocompatibility evaluations for innovative brain-computer interface technologies. This role requires expertise in regulatory compliance and safety evaluations.
You have a strong background in toxicology and biocompatibility evaluations, with experience in preparing toxicological risk assessment reports and biological safety evaluations. You understand the importance of regulatory compliance, particularly with standards like ISO 10993 and FDA guidelines. Your collaborative spirit allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on innovative medical devices, and you are committed to ensuring product safety and quality. You are detail-oriented and capable of developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) that outline the toxicological risk assessment process. You are eager to advance team members who have an outsized impact and contribute to the overall mission of the company.
Experience with analytical testing methods such as mass spectrometry, chromatography, and microbiological testing would be beneficial. Familiarity with clinical chemistry and in-vitro biocompatibility assays is also a plus. You are a proactive communicator who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward.
As a Toxicologist at Neuralink, you will lead toxicological risk assessments and biocompatibility evaluations to advance the safety of our brain-computer interface technologies. You will prepare comprehensive toxicological risk assessment reports and contribute to FDA and international regulatory submissions. Your role will involve owning the toxicological risk assessment process, ensuring that all evaluations align with regulatory standards. You will work closely with the Biocompatibility team to support the manufacture of Neuralink devices, ensuring product safety and quality throughout the development process. You will also engage in batch release testing and chemical characterization, playing a critical role in the overall safety evaluation of our products. Your contributions will directly impact the development of groundbreaking technologies that aim to restore movement and sight to individuals in need.
