Job Description

The Selling Partner Experience (SPX) organization strives to make Amazon the best place for Selling Partners (SPs) to do business. Providing adequate assistance to our Selling Partners and enhancing their experience when doing business with Amazon has always been our number one priority. We continue to invest in technology to improve this experience for our SPs. We are building an AI powered assistant, that will be a trusted partner and a seasoned advisor that’s always available to enable our partners to thrive in Amazon’s stores. The Selling Assistant will take away the cognitive load of selling on Amazon by providing a single interface to handle a diverse set of selling needs. The assistant will always stay by the partner's side, talk to them in their language, enable them to capitalize on opportunities, and help them accomplish their business goals with ease.

Building such an assistant requires a strong leader to drive the vision. This assistant is built by leveraging a multi-agent framework. This QAM is responsible for testing interconnected systems that are backed up by science components (LLMs). They will require thinking around corners, anticipating the unexpected, synthesizing and executing on testing strategies from discordant perspectives, and championing the vision to multiple high-level business owners. This leader will partner with multiple product owners, and other stakeholders to build a scalable testing solution.

The leader of this space is expected to stay close to the details, balance between Bias for action and Quality without compromising the work-life balance of their team. They are empathetic in leading the team while being Customer Obsessed in driving the right product features for Selling Partners.





Key job responsibilities
Whether you're passionate about building highly scalable and reliable systems or a leader who likes to solve business problems, SPX is the place for you. As the QAM of the team, you will collaborate with other SDEs, DEs, AS, and QAEs to build up automated regression test capability, enhance debugging, and improve test coverage. You will use tools such as Splunk, Anvil, TestRail, etc. to enable data analysis, device management, test result update etc. You will document product failures, test procedures, analysis, etc. in internal tools such as Jira, Quip, TestRail, etc. You will innovate how testing is done in GenAI world.

A day in the life
Quality Assurance Manager at Amazon do so much more than just software testing and validation.
They will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver on-time, high-quality software.
They design scalable testing frameworks that solve key business problems while supporting rapid evolution. They look around and learn new ways to innovate while building test framework for GenAI application.

About the team
Selling Partner Experience Science is a growing team of scientists, engineers and product leaders engaged in the research and development of the next generation of ML-driven technology to empower Amazon's Selling Partners to succeed. We draw from many science domains, from Natural Language Processing to Computer Vision to Optimization to Economics, to create solutions that seamlessly and automatically engage with Sellers, solve their problems, and help them grow. We are focused on building seller facing AI-powered tools using the latest science advancements to empower sellers to drive the growth of their business. We strive to radically simplify the seller experience, lowering the cognitive burden of selling on Amazon by making it easy to accomplish critical tasks such as launching new products, understanding and complying with Amazon’s policies and taking actions to grow their business.- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
