Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant

You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities from calendar year 2020 to the present. You will ensure that every payroll tax dollar is accurately submitted while resolving any variances identified. Your tasks will include researching tax notices and filing amendments directly with federal, state, and local agencies. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Payroll to ensure compliance and accuracy in all filings.
