What you'll do

As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of Serverfarm's data center operations. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and maintain critical systems that support the infrastructure. This includes overseeing power distribution systems to ensure they operate within safe parameters. You will also be involved in maintaining cooling systems to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance. Fire suppression systems will be part of your responsibilities, where you will ensure they are functional and ready to respond in case of emergencies. You will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining service level agreements. Your role will require you to document maintenance activities and report any anomalies to site leadership. You will also participate in training sessions to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of the systems in place.
