Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.
You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, ready to tackle the challenges of maintaining mission-critical technology infrastructure. Your hands-on experience in troubleshooting and operating complex systems makes you a vital part of the team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support our data center operations. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and various cooling systems to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will help maintain an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%, which is critical for our global digital experiences. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall success of AWS Infrastructure Services. Your role will involve hands-on work, requiring you to be on-site and actively engaged with the equipment and systems you support. You will also participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
