PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to enhance their global privacy program and provide legal counsel on privacy issues. You'll leverage your expertise in privacy, data protection, and marketing law while collaborating with internal stakeholders in San Francisco.
You are an experienced attorney with a strong background in privacy, data protection, and marketing/advertising law. You have demonstrated the ability to build deep expertise in these areas and effectively establish trusted relationships with internal stakeholders. You are a highly motivated team player who enjoys learning and is eager to make an immediate impact on the company’s values and growth. You possess the foresight to think ahead and prepare for the evolving privacy landscape, ensuring that PagerDuty remains compliant and proactive in its approach.
In this role, you will scale and mature PagerDuty’s global privacy program, which includes planning and implementing self-help resources, training, tools, and systems. You will support revenue objectives by collaborating with the Commercial Legal and Deal Desk teams to provide clear and concise counsel on privacy issues related to customer deals. Your responsibilities will also involve staying updated on privacy regulations and trends, advising on marketing strategies, and ensuring that all marketing practices comply with applicable laws. You will work closely with various departments to integrate privacy considerations into business processes and product development, fostering a culture of compliance and awareness throughout the organization.
