What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer on the MongoDB Server Query Integration team, you will play a crucial role in building a world-class distributed open-source database. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing user-facing features on top of the core query engine, enhancing the performance of the database, and integrating query functionalities with other products in the MongoDB ecosystem. You will work on exciting projects such as improving the time-series product and adding workload telemetry to provide greater insights into database usage.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve interesting problems related to transactional, time-series, lexical, vector search, and analytical workloads. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and performance of data processing within the MongoDB platform. You will also be involved in the systematic rewriting of major components of the optimization and execution systems, ensuring that the database remains robust and efficient.
