Coupang is seeking a Principal for their Trust & Safety team to manage the Brand Integrity Audit program. You'll focus on assessing compliance and control effectiveness while collaborating with various departments. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and experience in risk management.
You have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with at least 5 years of experience in a related field. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to identify potential vulnerabilities and propose effective solutions. You possess an adversarial mindset, enabling you to proactively address issues related to intellectual property and brand integrity. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, policy, and operations, to ensure compliance and enhance customer trust.
Experience in e-commerce or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with intellectual property laws and regulations. You are adept at data analysis and can translate complex data into actionable insights. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to convey findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
In this role, you will manage the audit program focused on high-risk areas related to intellectual property misuse. You will develop and maintain audit checklists to evaluate compliance and control effectiveness, ensuring that the overall risk control system remains robust. You will lead investigations into reported IP infringement incidents, working closely with relevant teams to resolve issues swiftly and transparently. Conducting deep-dive reviews to identify root causes of policy and process failures will be a key responsibility, and you will propose scalable solutions to enhance compliance.
You will analyze complex data to prioritize tasks and regularly report compliance performance metrics to leadership. Collaborating with partner teams, you will implement compliance solutions and support the launch of new products, ensuring that all initiatives align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
