Who you are

You have experience in health and safety, ideally within a workplace setting, and are passionate about promoting health and wellness principles. You understand the importance of creating a safe work environment and are committed to supporting associates in their health needs. You are comfortable working independently and have strong communication skills to interact with employees at all levels. You are familiar with OSHA regulations and have a proactive approach to managing workplace health issues. You enjoy collaborating with a team and participating in safety initiatives to enhance the overall wellbeing of the workforce.

What you'll do

As an Onsite Medical Representative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of associates. You will assess and administer first aid as needed and provide guidance on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You will attend weekly safety committee meetings and engage with new hires to promote a culture of safety. Your responsibilities will include participating in case management review meetings and referring care to outside medical providers when necessary. You will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialist to implement best practices and resources for health and safety. Your role will also involve advocating for health and wellness principles to support associates daily, ensuring they have access to the care they need.
