Axon is seeking a Principal of Equity Compensation to manage the company's equity plans and interface with various teams. This role requires expertise in equity incentive plans and international tax implications.
You have extensive experience in equity compensation, particularly with equity incentive plans such as stock options, RSUs, and PSUs. Your familiarity with international considerations and tax implications sets you apart in this field. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable interfacing with multiple teams, including People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to manage the day-to-day activities of equity plans effectively. Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly is essential for this role, as you will be working closely with both internal and external audit teams.
As the Principal of Equity Compensation at Axon, you will take ownership of the company's equity plans, ensuring they align with the organization's mission to protect life. You will report directly to the VP of Financial Reporting and Strategic Investments, playing a crucial role in the financial health of the company. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the administration of the eXponential Stock Plan (XSP) and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to provide insights and guidance on equity compensation matters, helping to empower employees and drive engagement. Your role will also involve staying updated on industry trends and best practices in equity compensation, allowing you to make informed recommendations for improvements. You will be instrumental in shaping the equity compensation strategy that supports Axon's goals and values.
