Google is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop generative AI solutions on Google Cloud. You'll work with Python, Java, and TensorFlow to build and integrate AI products. This position requires 5+ years of software development experience and expertise in machine learning technologies.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development using programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Your background includes 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and at least 1 year in software design and architecture. You possess a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and tools, particularly TensorFlow, and have experience in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and natural language processing. Your role as a Technical Solution Architect in a cloud computing environment has equipped you with the skills to communicate effectively in both English and Japanese, supporting client relationship management in the region.
You are also familiar with data structures and algorithms, having spent 5 years honing your skills in this area. Your experience includes building AI and machine learning solutions, utilizing Machine Learning Operation frameworks like Kubeflow, and leveraging various machine learning architectures such as deep learning and LSTM. You have a solid understanding of AI models, large language models, and AI specialized infrastructure, which allows you to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the Cloud/IT technology space.
A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field would be a plus, as would any additional experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for distributed systems. Your ability to learn quickly and work with new technologies will be essential in this role.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Google, you will develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect and interact with information. You will recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud. Your role will involve supporting developers, creators, and enterprises in leveraging Google’s Generative Language APIs to build their own AI products in the future. You may also be required to travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement machine learning solutions that meet client needs. Your responsibilities will include testing and maintaining software products, ensuring they are robust and scalable. You will also engage in client-facing roles, providing technical guidance and support to help clients understand and utilize AI technologies effectively.
