We are seeking a product-focused Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join our team!

Some of the things you will work on and impact:

• work with your teammates to build and maintain high quality automation for building, testing, and deploying our main customer-facing platform.

• develop and maintain critical areas of the product including HPC software publishing, HPC software licensing connectivity, and the HPC software catalog.

• deploy, maintain and support Kubernetes clusters for the main Rescale platform.

• build a scalable platform foundation for other internal engineering teams to use to deploy new services, using Argocd, Tekton, and Atlantis.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of backend software engineering or Devops / SRE experience.

• Expertise or strong interest in the following areas: Kubernetes, automated deploys and build pipelines, web performance optimization (including ORM and DB profiling), deploying and scaling web applications, vm / container / application security

• High enthusiasm for supporting both rapid proof-of-concept prototypes as well as robust, mission critical components for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Comfortable with ambiguity, strong user-first mindset, and ability to come up with non-regrettable technical solutions.

• Flexibility and dedication to work with designers, product managers, and other engineers in a team to ship exceptional software.

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
