Apple is hiring a Senior End to End Performance Engineer to drive innovation in their Service Engineering team. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional performance of Apple Intelligence products in the cloud. This role requires 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and cloud operations.
You have over 5 years of experience as a Performance Engineer, demonstrating a proven track record of developing impactful technology solutions. Your in-depth professional experience with cloud operations equips you with the skills necessary to enhance the performance of complex systems. You possess strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, which are crucial for collaborating with various teams.
Your technical expertise spans multiple elements of the stack, from SOC to platform design and software integration. You understand the importance of delivering exceptional end-to-end performance that delights customers and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that enhance people's lives.
Experience with automation and infrastructure tools is a plus, as is familiarity with performance assessment methodologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited about the opportunity to work with architecture teams to define product performance targets.
In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of one or more products, specifically focusing on the end-to-end performance of Private Cloud Compute running Apple Intelligence in the cloud. You will collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, platform design, SOC architects, and software teams to ensure that performance targets are met and exceeded.
Your responsibilities will include assessing end-to-end performance and developing automation tools to evaluate the performance of Apple Intelligence products. You will work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance system efficiency.
You will also engage in defining product specifications and performance targets in collaboration with architecture teams. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in performance engineering and cloud operations, ensuring that Apple remains at the forefront of innovation.
