What you'll do

As an Operations Research Scientist at DoorDash, you will design and implement new algorithm components within our production dispatching system to meet emerging requirements. You will integrate state-of-the-art optimization and machine learning techniques to enhance the efficiency and quality of our dispatching decisions. Your role will involve analyzing logistics data to extract insights and translate those insights into production algorithm components. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business operators to develop cross-cutting and scalable solutions that guide value for our consumers, dashers, and merchants. You will also have the opportunity to dive deep into logistics data, using your analytical skills to inform decision-making and improve operational processes.
