Amazon is seeking a high performing Finance Manager to partner with the World-Wide Sustainability Operations team supporting our carbon emissions reduction goals.
As a Finance Manager of WW Operations Sustainability (WWOSF), you will be a finance leader partnering across various business units and geographies within operations as well as with the central Worldwide Amazon Sustainability team. You will identify opportunities, lead projects, provide guidance and ensure proper reporting is in place for the new and evolving carbon reporting requirements. As a key member of the WWOSF team, you will directly influence business decisions including investments, pricing models, and long term strategy. This is an exciting role for a Finance Manager who enjoys influencing both strategy and tactical execution, has a passion for innovation and thrives from working with senior leadership.
Key job responsibilities
• Leading financial analysis and due diligence for sustainability projects
• Engaging with partner teams to align on long term strategy and consolidate carbon emissions forecast
• Running financial review meetings with business groups and working with business managers to quantify and report on initiatives and projects
• Creating, improving, and maintaining financial metrics, reports and scorecards
• Communicating financial and business results including variance analyses to senior business leaders- Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Bachelor's degree- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience in analyzing large, complex investment business cases and making recommendations to senior leadership
