Who you are

You are a motivated individual with a background in construction, eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge manufacturing facilities at SpaceX. You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your experience includes performing finish carpentry tasks, such as door installation and framing, as well as drywall repair and basic concrete work. You are detail-oriented and take pride in ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Desirable

Experience with light demolition and basic construction tasks is a plus, as is familiarity with safety protocols and equipment inspections. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with engineers and other technicians to solve complex problems and drive impactful results.

What you'll do

As a Construction Technician on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for a variety of construction tasks that support the infrastructure team at SpaceX. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing finish carpentry tasks, such as installing doors and framing, as well as repairing drywall and laying tile. You will also conduct basic concrete work, including pouring and repairing sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and patios. In addition to these tasks, you will perform pre-operational safety checks and equipment inspections to ensure a safe working environment. You will support facilities in light demolition, clearing, and cleaning, and will take on other construction tasks as assigned by your supervisors. Your role is crucial in maintaining the functionality and safety of the manufacturing facilities that are essential to SpaceX's mission.
