Senior Software Engineer – Web and Mobile, RiskOS

Who you are

You have 3–7 years of hands-on development experience, particularly with TypeScript, React, and React Native — you've built responsive and accessible web and mobile applications that prioritize user experience. Your expertise extends to Android and iOS platforms, allowing you to create seamless cross-platform applications that meet high standards of quality and performance.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, design, and backend teams to ensure that user experiences are not only intuitive but also robust and secure. You advocate for best practices in UI architecture and are passionate about mentoring fellow engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.

You understand the importance of accessibility and security in application development — you champion these principles in your work, ensuring that the applications you build are inclusive and safe for all users. Your experience with testing frameworks, including BrowserStack, allows you to deliver features with confidence, knowing they will perform well in production.

Desirable

Experience with agile methodologies is a plus, as you appreciate the value of rapid iteration and feedback in the development process. Familiarity with API design and code reviews will enhance your contributions to the team, as you help shape the engineering standards and practices that drive success at Socure.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the RiskOS team, you will lead the development of high-quality web and mobile applications that help customers detect and prevent risk. You will own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to testing and production support. Your role will involve advocating for and evolving cross-platform design systems and engineering standards, ensuring that the applications you build are not only functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly.

You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into actionable features, participating in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with your peers. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, as you work to create applications that are responsive, accessible, and secure.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. You will champion best practices in accessibility, security, and performance, ensuring that the applications you build meet the highest standards.
