You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various electrical and mechanical systems within Amazon's data centers. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems. Your expertise will help ensure that our data centers operate at an extraordinary 99.999% uptime, which is crucial for powering global digital experiences. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to identify and resolve issues quickly, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections to prevent potential failures and enhance system reliability. Your role will involve hands-on work, requiring you to be comfortable with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and help implement best practices in data center management.
