Akuna is seeking a Quantitative Development & Strategy Intern for Summer 2026 to design and develop trading strategies and production code. You'll leverage your programming and mathematical skills in a collaborative environment in Chicago.
You are a motivated individual with a strong programming background and a keen interest in quantitative finance. You have familiarity with mathematical techniques and are eager to apply your skills to develop trading solutions. Your ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment will be essential as you contribute to the development of high-performance production code. You possess a foundational understanding of financial markets and derivatives, which will help you grasp the complexities of trading strategies. As a Quantitative Development & Strategy Intern at Akuna, you will be involved in designing and developing production code for trading strategies, including pricing models and execution logic.
