You have over 7 years of experience in Financial Control, Audit, or Finance Operations, particularly within the Banking or FinTech sector. Your deep understanding of data flow and financial systems enables you to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. You are adept at identifying manual processes and leading initiatives to automate and enhance efficiency. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to design and oversee reconciliation frameworks that align with accounting logic and control requirements.

You possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, allowing you to assess the impact of new product launches on the control environment effectively. You are committed to maintaining best-in-class documentation for all reconciliation processes, ensuring they are transparent, repeatable, and audit-proof. Your ability to continuously review existing processes for compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements demonstrates your proactive approach to risk management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the reconciliation framework between the Core Banking System (CBS), the ERP, and external reporting tools. You will identify manual intervention points in the reconciliation flow and lead the implementation of automated solutions to enhance efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that every Euro flowing through the CBS is accurately reflected in financial reporting.

You will act as the primary liaison between Data Engineering and Finance, ensuring that data pipelines are constructed with accounting logic and control requirements in mind. Your role will involve assessing the impact of new product launches on the control environment, designing accounting flows and control points for every new feature before it goes live.

Additionally, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reconciliation processes, ensuring they are transparent and audit-proof. You will continuously review existing processes for compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Your expertise will guide the team in maintaining high standards of data integrity and financial accuracy.
