The re:Cycle Reverse Logistics team is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Security Specialist. As a Security Specialist you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence in partnership with Operations leaders and key security stakeholders. Your constant vigilance will discover physical security gaps and shortcomings, which you will drive to fix immediately. You will interface with our contracted guard force and operations to maintain and raise the bar on daily security operations and patrols, and planning. You will extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data. You will make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls. You will direct efforts to educate on false alarm reductions with maintaining vigilance on security process improvements. You will write and implement security process and procedures. Your position will require you to write reports, create presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
This role is based in Greencastle, Pennsylvania (southern-central border of PA and MD), with working hours of Monday - Friday and 4pm-Midnight with the flexibility to adjust to plus or minus one or two hours earlier/later as needed to support operational working hours.
- 1+ years' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
- Knowledge of the administration and operation of: access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording.
- Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus.- College Degree and/or Background in one or more of: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Elite Forces), Law Enforcement (Police Academy Graduate), TSA Security Screening, Correctional Facility Officer
- 2+ years Security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
- 1+ year Leadership experience
