Amazon is seeking a Principal Security Solutions Architect to support Financial Services customers in navigating security, risk, and compliance on AWS. You'll leverage your deep security knowledge and business acumen to build executive-level relationships and drive AWS adoption. This role requires expertise in security solutions and AWS.
You have a unique combination of broad and deep security knowledge, coupled with business acumen and strong interpersonal skills. With a passion for the impact of cloud computing and AI on Financial Services, you are eager to help customers achieve their business goals on AWS. Your experience includes working directly with customer security, audit, risk, and compliance teams to help them understand how to confidently utilize AWS, identify risk, and design controls.
You have a proven track record of building and maintaining executive-level relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and CROs, and you excel at tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders within financial institutions. Your ability to educate auditors and examiners on assessing third-party supplier arrangements and conducting audits when AWS is in scope sets you apart in this field.
Experience in financial services or a related industry is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices. You are comfortable participating in architecture discussions to address risk, security, and compliance concerns, and you thrive in environments where you can influence AWS adoption.
In this vital role, you will help customers overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and addressing major security, risk, and compliance questions. You will participate in architecture discussions to work through these concerns and collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify necessary controls. Your role will involve educating auditors and examiners, helping them understand how to assess third-party supplier arrangements and conduct audits when AWS is in scope.
You will build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and CROs, ensuring that you are a trusted advisor in their security journey. Your responsibilities will also include developing strategies for ongoing assurance and establishing automated compliance processes that align with customer needs.
