Who you are

You have a strong background in backend engineering, with experience building scalable production systems that handle significant user traffic. You understand the complexities of distributed systems and have a knack for debugging and optimizing backend processes. Your expertise in Java and API design allows you to create robust solutions that meet the needs of both users and advertisers.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ideate and implement technical solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders ensures that you can translate their needs into actionable backend services. You are passionate about creating innovative ad experiences that enhance user engagement and drive revenue.

You are familiar with data pipelines and understand how to leverage data to improve system performance and user experience. Your experience with ad serving platforms or similar technologies gives you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in the advertising space. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance engineering practices within your team.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. What you'll do
