Security Engineer (Data & Endpoint Security)

Who you are

You have a strong background in data security, with experience in developing and enhancing enterprise data security detection capabilities. Your expertise includes data loss prevention, sensitive data identification, and data encryption and masking. You are skilled in validating and optimizing data security rules and models to improve coverage and accuracy. You have participated in data security incident identification, response, investigation, and forensics, demonstrating your ability to handle critical security situations effectively. You are familiar with building and maintaining data asset maps and using graph-based techniques to trace data flows and identify risks of sensitive data exfiltration. You are comfortable using enterprise data platforms to perform risk analytics, anomaly detection, and data-focused threat modeling.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and enhance enterprise data security detection capabilities, focusing on areas such as data loss prevention and sensitive data identification. You will continuously validate and optimize existing data security rules and models to improve their effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include participating in data security incident identification and response, as well as conducting investigations and forensics when necessary. You will build and maintain data asset maps, utilizing graph-based techniques to trace data flows and identify potential risks associated with sensitive data exfiltration. Additionally, you will leverage enterprise data platforms to perform risk analytics and anomaly detection, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
