Engineering Director - Public Cloud Operations (AWS/Alibaba)

Who you are

You have over 10 years of experience in cloud operations, with a strong focus on managing enterprise-level hybrid cloud infrastructures. Your expertise includes leading teams and ensuring high availability and performance across cloud platforms. You possess a deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and EKS, as well as Alibaba Cloud services like ECS, OSS, and Function Compute. You are adept at cost optimization and compliance, ensuring that cloud resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.

You are a strategic thinker who can design and implement cloud platform architecture that meets the needs of a rapidly evolving business landscape. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation within your team, encouraging members to contribute ideas and solutions. You have a proven track record of successfully managing cloud operations and driving projects from conception to completion.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Director for Public Cloud Operations at OKX, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will lead the planning, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AWS and Alibaba Cloud services, ensuring that our systems are highly available and performant. Your role will involve designing cloud architecture that supports our business objectives while optimizing costs and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to understand their cloud needs and provide solutions that enhance their workflows.
