Dataiku is seeking a Director of Employment Law to provide strategic legal guidance on employment matters across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You'll leverage your expertise in European employment law to manage complex issues and collaborate on global initiatives. This role requires at least 8 years of experience in a law firm and in-house at a multinational company.

Who you are

You have at least 8 years of combined experience in employment law, with a strong background in European regulations. Your expertise includes handling complex employee relations, hiring, terminations, and compliance with GDPR and other employment laws. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside cross-functional teams to address multifaceted legal challenges. Your ability to provide pragmatic legal counsel makes you a trusted advisor in a fast-paced tech setting.

You understand the intricacies of multi-jurisdictional employment issues and can navigate the complexities of collective labour law obligations. Your experience in both law firms and multinational companies equips you with a unique perspective on the legal landscape. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with global projects and initiatives is a plus, as is familiarity with workplace policies and performance management. You are proactive in identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Your collaborative spirit and ability to work under pressure will contribute to the success of our legal team.

What you'll do

As the Director of Employment Law at Dataiku, you will be instrumental in providing strategic legal guidance on a wide array of employment matters.
