MongoDB is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to collaborate with full-time engineers and gain practical software engineering experience. You'll work with programming languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript while contributing to production-level code. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. You have a solid foundation in computer science theory, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. You are fluent in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, or Node.js — or a comparable object-oriented programming language. You have a minimum of one quarter or semester remaining in your university studies after the internship concludes, with a graduation date in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Fall 2027, or Spring 2028. You must be authorized to work in the United States, and company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.
As a Software Engineering Intern at MongoDB, you will collaborate with full-time engineers and cross-functional teammates, learning development standard methodologies while gaining practical software engineering experience. You will be fully integrated into software engineering teams across our Product and Technology organization, spending your summer pushing production-level code to make lasting contributions across MongoDB’s products and services for our internal teams, external customers, and developer end users. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects that impact the company and its users, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting. You will also receive personalized mentorship from an engineering mentor, helping you to grow your skills and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
