Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Senior Aviation Development Engineer to lead the service launch of Starlink with key airline partners. You'll engage in technical processes and compliance to enhance the airline passenger experience. This role requires a strong background in product launch and engineering solutions.

You have a proven track record in engineering solutions for complex technical challenges, particularly in the context of new product launches and service introductions. Your experience includes working closely with partners and customers to ensure successful outcomes. You are adept at managing technical engagements, defining processes, and prioritizing resources to meet critical milestones. You understand the importance of compliance with customer and manufacturing requirements and are skilled in creating the necessary technical documentation for certification.

You thrive in environments that require deep technical alignment with partners, especially in areas such as mechanical and electrical integration, network performance, and application-level features. Your background includes significant experience in the aviation industry, and you are passionate about enhancing passenger experiences through innovative technology solutions. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Desirable

Experience with broadband internet systems or similar technologies would be a plus. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the service launch of Starlink with key airline partners.
