Acquia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data Engineering to build scalable data infrastructure. You'll work with Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Dagster to develop robust data pipelines. This role requires significant experience in data engineering and cloud platforms.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on data engineering — you've designed and built scalable data infrastructure that supports complex analytics and AI initiatives. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to develop efficient data models and transformations that drive real-time insights. You are familiar with cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake, and understand how to leverage them for optimal performance. You have experience with orchestration tools like Dagster, enabling you to create robust data pipelines that are both efficient and maintainable. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with data scientists and ML engineers to enhance model training and inference workflows. You are committed to implementing best practices in data quality monitoring and automated validation frameworks, ensuring the integrity of data across the organization.
Experience with AI/ML initiatives is a plus, as is familiarity with metadata-driven data solutions that promote self-service analytics. A background in building data solutions for marketing cloud platforms will set you apart.
