What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Production Metal Frameworks team, overseeing the design and implementation of the Metal API — your leadership will be crucial in defining the next generation of graphics experiences across Apple’s platforms. You will collaborate closely with software teams both within and outside of Apple, ensuring that the Metal API meets the needs of developers and enhances the capabilities of Apple Silicon.

You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the team, making strategic decisions that impact the development process and the quality of the final product. Your role will involve hands-on technical work, as well as high-level management responsibilities, including project planning, resource allocation, and performance management.

You will engage with developers to gather feedback and understand their needs, translating this information into actionable insights that drive the evolution of the Metal API.
