Job Description

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) enables sellers to scale their businesses globally by leveraging Amazon’s world-class fulfillment network. Sellers using FBA benefit from fast, reliable shipping, Prime delivery eligibility, and hassle-free returns—allowing them to focus on growth while we handle operations.

The FBA Central Analytics team develops analytics solutions and scalable data infrastructure that support strategic decision-making across global FBA programs. Our mission is to simplify access to trusted data and metrics, reduce reporting complexity, and empower business teams with timely, actionable insights.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst who enjoys working with data, collaborating across functions, and delivering impactful reporting solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of centralized analytics tools that consolidate WW FBA metrics. You will partner with other analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to build intuitive dashboards, support metric standardization efforts, and provide analytical insights that guide business decisions.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs), Data Engineers (DEs), and business stakeholders to gather requirements and document reporting needs.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting solutions, including automated dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses.
- Support efforts to harmonize key performance metrics by helping define consistent metric definitions, dimensions, and data sources.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for both front-end (dashboards/visualizations) and back-end (data infrastructure) components.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accurate and reliable reporting outputs.
- Conduct deep-dives and exploratory analysis to identify trends, uncover business opportunities, and support operational initiatives.
- Partner with DEs to troubleshoot data issues and contribute to the improvement of data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Build and maintain documentation such as metric catalogs, data dictionaries, and report guides to improve self-service capabilities.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through clear, data-driven narratives in written and verbal formats to business stakeholders.- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders- 2+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
