Formlabs is seeking a Startup Founder to lead the development and scaling of new product lines and ventures. This role requires strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills to drive business outcomes in the 3D printing industry.
You are a results-focused leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, ready to act as a mini-CEO within Formlabs. You thrive in environments that require rapid identification and development of new product lines, demonstrating a bias for action and comfort with ambiguity. Your deep ownership over outcomes drives you to create impactful solutions in the realm of digital manufacturing. You possess a keen understanding of market dynamics and user needs, allowing you to identify high-potential opportunities for innovation.
Experience in product strategy and vision is a plus, as is a background in leading multi-disciplinary teams. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of hardware, software, and materials science, and you have a track record of driving P&L results through strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will define the product strategy and vision for Formlabs, acting as the ultimate Product Owner. You will create products and services that not only meet user needs but also define the future of digital manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include owning business outcomes by identifying new market opportunities and scaling existing business units. You will build and lead multi-disciplinary teams of talented engineers, operators, and designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
You will be involved in the entire product cycle, from deep R&D to global-scale shipping, ensuring that the products developed align with the company's mission to change how the world creates. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of new ventures and ensuring that they meet the high standards expected by industry leaders.
