Overview

Carvana is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to perform light maintenance and repairs, including brake and tire services. This role requires at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive pay.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You are detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.

You possess a strong understanding of basic mechanical repairs, particularly for brake pads, calipers, rotors, and tire installations. You are comfortable performing routine inspections and maintenance, and you have a passion for working with vehicles. Your ability to use state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center will be key to your success in this role.

What you'll do

As an Automotive Mechanic at Carvana, you will perform essential maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Your primary responsibilities will include changing brakes and tires, conducting routine inspections, and performing basic mechanical repairs. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure that all vehicles are ready for sale and meet Carvana's high standards.

You will utilize advanced tools and technology in our Inspection Centers to carry out your tasks efficiently. Your role will involve diagnosing issues and providing solutions to ensure that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and following company policies.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair. Carvana is committed to your professional development, and you will receive support as you progress in your career.
