SeatGeek is seeking a Lead UX Designer to redefine live experiences in the ticketing industry. You'll leverage your expertise in behavioral design and systems thinking to create impactful strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 8+ years of experience in UX design.

Who you are

You have over 8 years of experience in UX design, showcasing excellent craftsmanship and a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors. Your expertise in behavioral design and systems thinking allows you to create impactful strategies that resonate with fans, sellers, teams, and artists alike. You are a changemaker and innovator, always looking to overcome technical and logistical obstacles that may create friction during live experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, product marketing, and customer success. You are passionate about live events and understand the importance of creating cohesive and high-quality user experiences.

Desirable

You possess a mindset geared towards experimentation and data-driven decision-making, which helps you balance speed and quality in your design processes. Your ability to sweat the details through execution and launch ensures that your designs not only meet but exceed expectations. You are comfortable with a work schedule that allows for at least 4 hours of overlap with the East Coast workday, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with your team.

What you'll do

As the Lead UX Designer at SeatGeek, you will set the direction for user experience strategies that enhance live event experiences. You will deeply understand the motivations and behaviors of various stakeholders, ensuring that your designs cater to their needs. Your role will involve creating clear and impactful strategies while also focusing on the details that drive successful execution and launch. You will demonstrate outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, continuously improving component systems to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences across the platform. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align on goals and deliver exceptional user experiences that position SeatGeek as a best-in-class ticketing platform.
