Job Description

Meta is seeking Visiting Researchers to join Meta AI through a short-term contract. About Meta AI: We are committed to advancing the field of artificial intelligence by making fundamental advances in scientific methods and technologies to help interact with and understand our world. We are seeking individuals passionate in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, audio and speech processing, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and computational statistics. This position is part-time, short-term employment for PhD students affiliated with Mila at McGill University, the University of Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal, or HEC Montréal. Students will collaborate with Meta and their university, working 20 hours per week onsite in the Meta Montreal office. The duration of the AI Mentorship Program is one year, with the potential to extend through a second year depending on performance. Applications for the 2026-27 cohort will be open November 17 to January 9, and the program will begin fall 2026. ------- Meta recherche des chercheurs invités pour rejoindre Meta AI dans le cadre d’un contrat à court terme. Nous recherchons des personnes passionnées par des domaines tels que l’apprentissage automatique, l’apprentissage profond, la vision par ordinateur, le traitement audio et vocal, le traitement du langage naturel, l’apprentissage par renforcement et les statistiques computationnelles. Ce poste est un emploi à temps partiel et à court terme destiné aux doctorants affiliés à Mila à l’Université McGill, à l’Université de Montréal, à Polytechnique Montréal ou à HEC Montréal. Les étudiants collaboreront avec Meta et leur université, en travaillant 20 heures par semaine sur place dans les bureaux de Meta à Montréal. Le programme de mentorat en IA a une durée d’un an, avec possibilité de prolongation d’une deuxième année en fonction des performances.
