Payrails GmbH is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help build a modular architecture for payment operations. You'll work on optimizing payment systems and enhancing customer experiences. This role requires extensive experience in data engineering.
You have a strong background in data engineering with a focus on building scalable data pipelines and systems. Your experience includes working with complex data architectures and ensuring data quality and integrity across various platforms. You understand the challenges faced by enterprises in the payments space and are driven to create solutions that simplify these complexities. You thrive in collaborative environments where you can share your insights and learn from others, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
You possess a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Your technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, and you are familiar with tools and technologies that support data processing and analysis. You are comfortable working with cloud platforms and have experience in deploying data solutions that meet business needs. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which allows you to tackle challenges effectively.
Experience with payment systems or financial data is a plus, as it will help you understand the specific requirements of the role. Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop would be beneficial.
