You have a solid background in frontend engineering, with experience in building responsive web applications that enhance user experience. You are proficient in JavaScript and have a strong understanding of frameworks like React. Your ability to collaborate with UX and interaction designers allows you to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces. You are familiar with best practices in web development, including performance optimization and accessibility standards. You understand the importance of documentation and integration testing in maintaining high-quality code. Your communication skills enable you to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals.
In this role, you will take ownership of developing a new web platform that is crucial for visualizing city health and automating operational workflows. You will work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional and appealing web applications. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold quality standards. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise in production, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborating with backend engineers, you will integrate APIs and ensure that the frontend communicates effectively with the backend services. You will participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.
