Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in product development and testing. Your background includes working with JavaScript and ArcGIS technologies, enabling you to contribute effectively to the development of Map Viewer features and data management workflows. You are organized and motivated, with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineers and Software Developers. Your experience with both manual and automated testing allows you to advocate for end-user functionality and ensure a quality product. You are comfortable creating technical documentation and showcasing features through various media, including videos and presentations. You thrive in environments where you can resolve issues throughout the software development life cycle, and you are eager to contribute to the success of the ArcGIS Enterprise team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support and guide the development of Map Viewer, ArcGIS Arcade, and data management workflows in ArcGIS Enterprise. You will collaborate closely with Product Engineers and Software Developers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that the software meets user needs. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing manual test plans for new and existing software capabilities, as well as assisting in the creation and monitoring of automated tests. You will work with the feature team to prioritize the backlog of issues, including triaging customer-reported bugs. Additionally, you will communicate functionality through software documentation and workflow videos for both internal and external audiences, showcasing the features of the product effectively. Your contributions will enable customers to leverage mapping technology to solve complex, real-world challenges.
