Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development across various programming languages. Your background includes at least 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and you have a year of experience in software design and architecture. You may also hold a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, which is preferred. Your experience includes software security, particularly in assessing security risks related to technical infrastructure or distributed client software. You have worked on software supply chains and have developed AI agents while building tooling for internal developers. Additionally, you have experience working on Android or Chromium, which adds to your versatility as a software engineer.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Google, you will work on critical projects that are essential to the company's needs. You will audit critical infrastructure access and perform security reviews and design engagements with stakeholders from Chrome, ChromeOS, and Android. Your role will involve developing chain-of-custody verification and autonomous agents to enhance security efforts and verify the integrity of automated code modifications. You will also be responsible for building intelligent user experiences into access control management systems to prevent and mitigate misconfigurations. Your contributions will directly impact how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another, as you help develop next-generation technologies that extend well beyond web search.
